The company, founded in 1961, operates strictly on national capital and has been in operation in the food products sector since its beginning, having peanut-based products, it was founded by Aldemiro Ferreira Guedes and Sérgio de Andrada Guedes, father and son respectively. The company’s mission, since the day of its conception, has always been related to the offering of superior products, with incomparable quality and taste. The third generation to become part of the board of directors in 1997, also reinforces these characteristics, aiming to distinguish itself for its clients in the national and international markets.

Having a vast product line, among them, Amendoim Brasil, as principal feature, Agtal counts on a varied presentation line, in different weights and measures, to meet its consumers needs during the most varied consumption moments: at home, with their families, with friends, when they’re out on the street, alone or during any other occasion. This competitive advantage also allows the company to be present in different markets, such as wholesale and retail.

Agtal has invested in the launching of products that meet the demands of various sectors. For the wholesale market, the Paçoca Deliçoca (a ground peanut candy), the Pé-de-Moleque (peanut brittle candy), the peanuts packaged in 35g/40g packets and the Doces de Amendoim, (sweets made of peanuts,) that awaken the customer’s interest. For the retail market, the highlight - the traditional Amendoim Brasil – Tipo Japonês, (peanuts roasted in salt – Japanese style) having many packaging options, in accordance with the necessity of each type of establishment, accompanied by the other items that make up the assortment of products. As far as the export line goes, Agtal has made amplifications, with the distinguishing of these items: Amendoim Brasil, Linha Up! and the Tortinha Agtal (mini pie). The company adopts rather flexible policies, with the goal of providing for all the market’s demands.

The company counts on a fully set up structure to meet the demands of any type of market, but always keeping to its quality standard.
